Our website "Apokoronas Our Home" is a work in progress and will change and adapt according to local developments and events and the needs of our visitors.

This is an independent site particularly for English speaking residents. We aim to be completely neutral and non-political nor do we not seek to lobby for particular interest groups or individuals.

We began the site in 2010 in the days of "Kapodistrias" to inform residents and visitors to Apokoronas of the changes to be implemented all over Greece with the coming of the "Kallikratis" system with special reference to our area. That change merged five former Municipalities and one Community into the single Municipality of the Apokoronas as from January 2011.

Since that time, we have established strong links with the Municipality.

We aim to keep you informed as to what is happening in Apokoronas and with the Municipality and would welcome your questions, suggestions and concerns.
